June inflation decreases to 12.1%

Inflation for June this year decreased to 12.1 percent.

This represents a 0.5 percent drop compared to the 12.6 percent recorded in May this year.

The inflation measures the change over time in the general price level of goods and services that consumers purchase.

The Acting Government Statistician, Baah Wadieh explained that the decrease was due to the general decline in the prices of goods in June compared to the same period last year.
