DVLA sets Oct. 1 to begin re-certifying customised number plates

The Driver and Vehicle Licensing Authority (DVLA) has set October 1 to begin issuing new electronic registration and documentation for vehicles with customised number plates.

The DVLA said in a statement that the move is aimed at eliminating fake customised registration number plates in the system.

“We are therefore requesting vehicle owners with customised registration numbers to present their registration documents to the Prestige service centre at the DVLA head office, Accra,” the statement said.
